EP Release: King Princess – Make My Bed

Rising artist King Princess  has released her ethereal debut EP MAKE MY BED via Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records —the label’s first release. The EP features the certified GOLD breakout single ‘1950’ and the stunning ‘Talia’ – streamed more than 100 million times to date – along with three previously unheard tracks written and produced by King Princess. To accompany the release of the EP, King Princess has also unveiled the music video for the title track of the record.

King Princess will play her first ever shows this U.S summer which include headline dates at Los Angeles’ The Troubadour and New York’s The Hall at Elsewhere which sold out within minutes. Further stops include Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and beyond.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, King Princess is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. The product of a musical family, she spent much of her childhood tinkering on the vintage Neve board in her father’s Brooklyn studio Mission Sound, learning instrumentation along the way. At 11 she turned down a record deal in favour of finishing school, which eventually led her to USC’s Thornton School of Music for college. She studied there for a year with legendary pianist and singer Patrice Rushen before leaving USC to pursue music full time.
