Jamie Lee Curtis to visit Australia for Halloween
With a career spanning four decades, Golden Globe Award-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis is a true Hollywood Icon, and Universal Pictures are thrilled to announce that Jamie will visit Australia this October to promote the upcoming release of Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax’s Halloween.
Halloween was Jamie’s breakout role in 1978 and from there her star began to rise, becoming known for roles in films such as Trading Places (1983), Perfect (1985) and A Fish Called Wanda (1988), also starring in one of the biggest action films ever, True Lies (1994), for which she won a Golden Globe Award for her performance.
Halloween sees Jamie return to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night 40 years ago.
Jamie will walk the Black Carpet at the Australian Premiere of Halloween on Tuesday 23 October 2018 in Sydney.
