Rochelle Bridge had no idea when she took the reins of Lonvitalite five years ago, her brand would end up on the shelves of the four biggest names in beauty. Lonvitalite, based on the Gold Coast, has been picked up by Mecca, Flora & Fauna, Nourished Life and cemented the strong long-term relationship with Adore Beauty.

Rochelle said it is the year of the smaller brands. “Getting noticed and picked up by these giants in the beauty industry is exciting. It shows the hard work I have put in over the past few years as paid off,” she said.

“Nothing like this is by chance. As a small business you have to work hard to build relationships and prove yourself. Lonvitalite is always innovating – we were the first to bring eye masks to the Australian market and we are always researching new trends. Being distributed by Flora & Fauna, Mecca, Nourished Life and Adore Beauty means more people seeing Lonvitalite’s range.”

With the retails space in flux at the moment, with well-known brands Ed Harry and Napoleon Perdis going under, it really is the smaller business’s time to shine. Rochelle said Flora & Fauna recently launched 2 of Lonvitalite’s derma rollers. “Mecca launched at the end of January with derma rollers and our famous gold eye and lip masks, Nourished Life is launching our rollers in February and Adore Beauty is going strong with our whole range,” she said. “These brands are all run by woman and they are supporting other women in business.”

To cap off an already magnificent start to the year, Lonvitalite has also signed beauty influencer & cystic fibrosis warrior Alex Bronwyn as ambassador. “Alex is such a person – she’s down to earth and has a strong message about acceptance and being real,” Rochelle said. “I have followed her for a long time and admire her skill and talents as a make-up artist and as a person. She has been a big support of Lonvitalite for a long time; it is just a great fit.”
