OH HARLOW jumped into the country music world under the name ‘The Dennis Sisters’ four years ago, at just 15 & 16 years old. Not being ones to be confined to a box, the sister duo have been honing their songwriting craft and refining their sibling harmonising the way only siblings can, to create their own genre-crossing original music, with hints of their influences from country, folk and pop music in each song they create.

With Tiana on guitar and Briannah on bass, the Sunshine Coast girls began writing in their early teens after a long period of chronic illness which prevented them from attending school. This health journey in their youth has given them maturity beyond their years which you can hear in their storytelling throughout their songs. From softly sung songs about loss, to the fresh love of life and falling for the first time, to the fields of snow in Japan they experienced while playing their music overseas in 2019; Ti and Bri have worked hard the last four years and are eager to apply everything they’ve learned with their new music as OH HARLOW.

And the name change from The Dennis Sisters to OH HARLOW? Ti said, “It’s been a 4 year deliberation picking a name that we both loved. Our family name being Dennis, we quickly got stuck with The Dennis Sisters while we built our act and grew as artists/musicians. We are The Dennis Sisters and will always be, but when we finalised the songs for this EP we realised that we were ready for the next step and felt finally naming our duo would be a perfect entry into our next project – OH HARLOW.”

Bri added, “There’s a local park down the road from where we live called ‘Harlow’ and we resonated with the name immediately. Oh Harlow feels like home for us.”

They’ve grown, they’ve learned and Oh Harlow are ready to kick some musical doors down – and it’s exciting.
