Casting call launched to find the faces of W Melbourne
W Hotels will soon bring their provocative design and super-charged energy to Melbourne’s laneway culture. Opening its doors in February, the highly anticipated W Melbourne is now accepting expressions of interest for their Talent casting.
W Melbourne is now looking to cast over 100 Talent to join the team and are on the search for those hospitality Rockstar’s who rebelliously rewrite the rules. In a W Hotels first, the casting call
will take place virtually, with this first round of screening looking out for Talent who demonstrate the brands traits of Bold, Witty and Insider.
One of the most coveted roles up for grabs is the hotels first W Insider, who is tasked with uncovering the unexpected and making the impossible possible. Offering back-lane access to immerse guests in Melbourne’s double shot culture, the W Insider will uncover the kind of experiences you would never find in a guidebook. Their extensive Rolodex gives them access to the who’s who across the brands four passion points of music, fashion, design and fuel, opening doors to create truly epic guest moments.
To lock in the W Insider role, applicants will have to defy expectations to get noticed. For those successful applicants who pass screening during the casting call, they’ll then be given a reserved ticket to present to a judging panel; where hot off the heels of her latest album release ‘Don’t Sleep’, local electronic musician and producer, Alice Ivy will be joining.
Another central role in driving the energy behind the W Melbourne experience will be the, Music Curator. With extensive experience as a DJ and connector within the music industry, the Music Curator will help ignite the day-in-day-out music programming and curation of major happenings throughout the year. Normal gets you nowhere is the motto W Melbourne wants their prospective Talent to chant
throughout the casting journey. This is their time to take centre stage and showcase what they can bring to help amplify the guest experience across all areas of the hotel.
