The great man of Australian music  –  Michael Gudinski  –  has passed away suddenly at his home in Melbourne.  He was 68 years old.  Michael Solomon Gudinski was a true legend and icon of the Australian music industry and I am in shock, like everyone who knew him.  He founded Mushroom Records and built upon that with smaller labels and the Mushroom Music publishing and Frontier Touring Company.  I was in his company many times enjoying gigs over about twenty years and sharing many great experiences.
