Based in Melbourne and helped create Mediasearch. Matt Deller
Matt Deller is one of Melbourne's foremost celebrity photographers having been seen for the past twenty years on the red carpets, backstage, and at all the events that really matter. After a stint in a London Studio (1985-86) Matt returned to Australia where he quickly built up a reputation for his diligence, eye for detail, and zany outlook which carries over into the images he produces. He was the premiere photographer for all the major record companies in Melbourne for the ten years that followed. TV Week have employed him for the past eight years to capture the red carpet action, auditorium presentations, and candid pics at the TV Week Logie Awards and the after parties. His talent extends from social and corporate events through to studio, portraiture, travel, and fashion photography. Always with his camera at the ready but not always noticed makes an ideal opportunity for him to capture candid pics that are sort after by his clients. EmailDave Griffiths

Writing for a website like Mediasearch is always a refreshing reminder why I'm a Journalism student, because I love to write, and who wouldn't be addicted to writing about films, fashion, music and celebrities? I've had work experience with The Age and New Idea and write regularly for local papers, uni magazines, basically anything I can get my paws on. I began writing for Mediasearch in 2005, and I'm looking forward for the opportunity to be more and more involved for 2008. Though I love newspapers and hope to get a cadetship at the end of my degree, I am drawn to the gloss and fun of magazine style writing. I am a features writer, not a 25-word intro hard news style kind of girl. I relish and look forward to more opportunities to interview people, and draw out their dreams, goals, fault, human bits while easing out the part that makes an interview subject extraordinary. EmailKelly Baynes
A new member to the Mediasearch team, Kelly has been heavily involved in both the Melbourne music and fashion scene. Having worked as a freelance consultant with many up and coming & established fashion designers and boutiques, Kelly has acquired an invaluable knowledge of the local fashion Industry. Music being her main passion, Kelly has firmly entrenched herself in the live music scene, and is a regular to all those magical Melbourne music institutions (think The Espy, The Night Cat, The Prince of Wales and so on !). With an ever growing network of local musicians around her and a growing knowledge of all new (and old) music, Kelly has jumped at the opportunity to join our team of reviewers! I started writing for Media Search in 2005 after meeting Carmine at the AFI Awards. His offer to write CD and occasional film reviews was just too good to refuse and so my days of ‘self-expression’ began. Apart from lazing around listening to CDs, I do actually do something with my time J. I am studying journalism at RMIT University and am about to begin my third and final year of the course. In the future I hope to work on a travel or lifestyle television show. Hard news journalism I can vouch, is not really my style, but won’t rule it out entirely. I enjoy the lighter side of life. I love fashion, I love music, films and travel, so relaxed and fun journalism is the aim. Stints include co-hosting live TV on Channel 31, reading and writing the news bulletin weekly for SYN and working as a reporter on an upcoming television show about the joys of singledom. Part of the Mediasearch team since 2005, my love of music, writing and travel have seen me further my career from Music Editor at Buzz Magazine, to sports writer for the official AFL website through to a gig at Lonely Planet among other things. Having spent several years overseas with my most recent trip coming in Jan through Feb of this year in two great countries (Laos & Cambodia), I have now branched out to that of a freelance travel writer. Music is still my first passion though, where I simply cannot get enough. With a CD collection continually increasing and now up past 1000, and with a brief stint as a music manager last year, I'll continue to pursue a career in both the music and writing industries, where interviewing personalities and artists, and reviewing music inspires me!
