Simon Chalmers and his company of suitably attired butlers and bartenders hosted Sydney’s most influential young socialites and media recently at an intimate gathering to ‘wet the head’ of his stunning new bar, Beach Haus. Guests flurried to the warmth of this hidden gem on another cold Sydney night; some to revel and others to bask in the reminiscent glow of Summer’s past.

Inside guests enjoyed mouth-watering canapés of Prawn San Choy Bau, Mini Barcelona Burgers and Spanish Chicken Croquettes prepared by chef, Scott Mason and a selection of fine, cosmopolitan tipples - flowing magnums of Moet & Chandon, Beach Haus’ Hi Beached Tea share cocktails (for those that were game) and perfectly formed Russian Standard Imperial demi-shots that literally saw guests go ‘from beach to bar’!

International beats were spun by Lady Gaga’s protégé, DJ Reflex from New York, whilst guests mingled and danced the night away with the light-heartedness only an exotic holiday can provide.

Beach Haus regulars, including Bridget & Charlotte Holmes à Court, Kristy Coulcher, April Rose Pengilly, Nicola Finnetti, James Kerley, Katrina Noorbergen and Rupert Noffs all joined the celebration.

Gift bags bulged with summer goodies, including candy coloured Bloom nail polishes for the girls, Sebastien hair product for the guys and Brad Ngata vouchers, Dermologica sunscreen and an abundance of Baci chocolates for all.
