:: The d&d ball

The d&d ball is set to consume the minds of many young singles around Australia over the next few weeks. The motto of ‘I’m young, single and proud of it!’ will be evident when thousands of young males and females gather at various parties across Australia over the next few weeks. Proudly presented by Empire Events, it's a great night out for singles to enjoy fabulous entertainment and maybe meet the person of their dreams.

Upon purchase of a ticket to the ball, patrons can elect to be matched up with someone for the event. Close to 50% of patrons take this option. They fill out a printed or online registration form and their data is entered into the matching program. Matching takes place a few days prior to the event and each person who has registered receives an SMS with his or her dates first name and contact number. They then organise to meet up at one of the pre parties or at the d&d ball.

You never know who you might meet… a rockstar, pornstar, sportstar, bombshell or maybe just a nice normal person. The main aim is to create is a fun, party environment for you and your friends to enjoy yourself in. A lot of the patrons don't take up the matching option but if you choose to do so, don't take it too seriously and certainly don't complain to us if you don't end up walking down the aisle.
Have fun with it and just enjoy the night for what it is…a great party destination!

It's a ball so it's gotta be cocktail/ lounge dress - so think slick, chic, classy!

Pre-Parties 6.00-8.00pm
Pre-Parties are held at selected bars close to the d&d ball venue. Attendance is optional, however the majority of patrons choose to start their night at one of the Pre Parties. All venues offer drink specials to d&d ball patrons. From here patrons make their way to the d&d ball. In some states Empire Productions provides transport from the Pre-Parties to the d&d ball.

After-Parties 1.00am-onwards
After-Parties are held at selected bars and nightclubs close to the d&d ball venue. Empire Productions provides buses to transport patrons from the d&d ball to the After Parties.
