:: British beauty wins Celebrity Lips of the Year awardBy: Carmine PascuzziSky Sports News beauty Georgie Thompson claimed the Lypsyl Celebrity Lips of the Year award. The presenter, whose knockout smile brightens up the day of many Sky Sports News fans, was given the award by lip balm makers, Lypsyl. Georgie, 32, said: “I'm very flattered to have won this award. Being a presenter means my lips always need to be looking good so I make a real effort to look after them - lip balm is a definite handbag essential for me.” In its first year of running, Georgie received huge support from Facebook fans for the 2010 title. And it seems Georgie has all the attributes it takes to give her the perfect pair of lips. In a recent survey by Lypsyl, ‘soft and moisturised’, ‘proportion to face’ and ‘perfect shape’ were voted as the top three attributes that help make up the perfect pout. Here is Georgie's top tip for luscious lips: “I'm a real fan of the smokey eyes look, and this works best with a natural lip colour, so I tend to just use a lip balm on its own.” A spokesperson for award organiser Lypsyl said: “We are excited to have launched this award for the first time and hope next year's award will receive just as much support. Georgie is a great example of just how good your lips can look with a little bit of care and attention and we are thrilled to give her this title.” Lypsyl, which sells a moisturising lip balm every two seconds, has joined forces with beauty expert Laura Bacharach to give tips for the perfect pout on its page on Facebook http://tiny.cc/FacebookLypsylLoveYourLips With experience of protecting lips for over 30 years, Lypsyl contains a conditioning formula of Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to provide soothing and moisturising benefits which help care for dry, chapped and sore lips.
