:: The Life Change Experiment is looking for inspiration

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you gave everything you owned away to needy strangers, stepped out of your comfort zone and went looking for what really mattered in life?

That’s exactly what two friends of mine did - Sydney celebrity couple Bessie Bardot and Geoff Barker - together with their baby daughter BlueBelle.

You may seen on Australian television last year when they “gave away” all of their great possessions and then set out on “The Life Change Experiment”. To quote from Bessie and Geoff, “We're putting the universal concepts of flow and provision to the test. We have no idea what will come of this, where we will go or what we will do when we get there. We simply have in the back of our mind, that we want to break out of our old rut and experience more from life.”

“It all started from a deep and persistent desire we both shared to grow and experience more from our life. As much as we appreciated the successes we had in our comfortable inner city lifestyle, we both shared a gnawing feeling that life was passing us by.”

Bessie and Geoff are looking for a fresh perspective and they want to talk to YOU!

They add, “It has been a long time dream to seek out and talk with inspiring, enlightened, interesting people, who have made REAL changes and REAL differences in their world. We want to know how they got the courage. What choices they made? How they overcame their challenges. What tools they developed and how these have helped them in their everyday life.”

They want to know the secrets to what makes someone wake up in the morning with a spring in their step and do what they love regardless of what others say or the hurdles they face. They want to learn the essence of purpose and true happiness, and want to pass on what we learn and experience to anyone who has a heart to listen .

They are also after unsung hero’s and those causes that so desperately need support but don’t have the resources to let people know the good work they are doing or the assistance they need.

Finally with the help of some kind sponsors Bessie and Geoff are hoping to make a difference in some lives along the way and meet as many of you as possible.

Bessie, Geoff and BlueBelle are making their way around Australia in a Winnebago Motor Home for six months and they are part way through their journey now. This is their means of getting to the heart of Australians and the inspirational stories they're discovering and further seeking. Whilst travelling, they will be raising greater awareness of the Make-A-Wish Foundation - for children suffering life-threatening medical conditions, where a Wish can bring magic, hope and joy. A Wish can also be a positive experience for families in challenging times.
