One of the big weeks in the Melbourne events calendar is Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW). It is all exploring and immersing yourself in Melbourne's unique fashion culture, retail precincts and design havens. In 2010 the diversity and range of events on the program will ensure everyone has an opportunity to find their special piece of the city's fabulous fashion scene. There is a massive programme complete with official catwalk shows, after parties, and on-calendar events. MSFW will be held from Monday, August 30 to Sunday, September 5, 2010.

This year Australia’s premier spa and beauty trade event, the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo 2010, is back with more innovation, a fresh vision and a new focus on all things on the spa and beauty business spectrum. Celebrating one of the greatest collections of Australia’s leading brands, this season saw David Jones proudly welcome the Summer 2010 Fashion Launch to its flagship Elizabeth Street store in Sydney. Guests made their way through six floors of the greatest portfolio of Australian and international brands - arriving at the famous David Jones ‘on seven’ space which was completely transformed into a chic, French style salon adorned with hundreds of roses in blush and nude tones including - the polar, faith, trust and amnesia varieties. Glamorously set amongst the mirrored, deco architecture of David Jones’ heritage building guests experienced an intimate ‘at home’ style show bringing them closer to the fashion and the runway than ever before.
