Here is a profile on the lovely Victorian entrant.

Q. What is your family background?

A. I am very close with my family I have an older brother who is 24, I live with my parents in Melbourne, although I was born in Tasmania and lived there through my early child hood.

Q. Did you grow up in your early teens wanting to be in showbiz?

A. Yes, I have always wanted to get into showbiz ever since I can remember. Growing up I was doing a lot of acting classes, performing in local theatre productions, and school drama classes, I have always been interested in performing. I love being on stage.

Q. What have you discovered / learnt from the modelling scene?

A. More than anything I have gained a lot of confidence. It is such a creative industry and you can learn a lot from the people that you meet if you are willing to. One thing I have learnt is to always stay true to yourself and not trying to be like someone else. Individuality makes you stand out from the crowd.

Q. Career highlights to date?

A. So far my career highlight would have to be appearing on Beauty and the Geek TV show. It was such an amazing experience and I met so to many different and interesting characters, I also feel very privileged to be a national finalist for Miss Universe Australia and am soaking up as much of the experience as I can.

Q. Favourite hobbies?

A. Being really busy makes me appreciate the time I get to spend with my family and friends. Sometimes it’s nice to just have a little down time to relax. Although I do love the outdoors, I have always been adventurous and I love to travel. One of my favourite things about Australia is the beaches.

Q. Favourite music?

A. I don’t have a particular favourite style of music, I like many different genres from contemporary artists to rock.

Q. Favourite films?

A. Some people might be surprised but one of my favourite films of all time would be The Shawshank Redemption. Others include The Godfather, Sixth Sense and The Notebook.

Q. What is your fashion sense?

A. I would describe my fashion sense as modern at stylish, and I love getting dressed up when I go out - dress and high heels are always my first choice.

Q. Beauty tips?

A. I would definitely tell anyone to look after your skin. It’s the first thing people see when they look at you and it will keep you looking young. Ladies always make sure you’re not sleeping in your make-up and moisturise every day. You will feel a million bucks.

Q. Advice for young girls aspiring to be models?

A. It is a tough industry to get into and always stay true to yourself. It can be a lot of fun but if you’re not happy it’s not worth doing. Always look after your body, health and happiness and everything else will fall into place.

Q. Do you think a man should treat a woman like he does his car?

A. Definitely not. A man should treat his woman like she is his priority - not equal to his possessions. You can buy a million cars but its hard to find the right person. If you find them you should treat them right.

Q. Favourite place visited?

A. Visiting Ayers Rock has been one of the most memorable places I have travelled to. It's so different to any part of Australia that I have been to. The scenery is is amazing and the view from Uluru was well worth the climb.

Q. Do you have a role model/s?

A. I am inspired by a lot of women in the industry who have been successful in their career such as Rachael Taylor, Jennifer Hawkins and Isla Fisher. They inspire me because they have to passion and determination to chase after their dreams.

Q. People you've admired generally?

A. I admire people who treat all people equally. Those who are extremely confident and comfortable in themselves, and people that are chasing after their goals in life.

Q. Is there a social/political issue that bothers you and what are ways to solve it?

A. I would say that bullying is a huge issue at the moment among teens and, although it does happen in different forms throughout everyday life, I feel that young teens struggle to deal with it. There are many awareness programs and campaigns to stop bullying which is great, but I would love to see more things started to help teens deal with bullying.

Q. Future ambitions?

A. In the future I would love to further my career in performing arts, and acting its something I enjoy doing. It would be amazing to do it as a career. I would love to travel and that is definitely something at the top of my list.
