David Jones launched its Autumn Winter 2014 collections with a dramatic presentation reminiscent of a Tim Burton film. Over 300 guests were transported through a magical labyrinth of theatre and rich décor as the famed On Seven space at David Jones was transformed into a romantic, other worldly moment.

An enchanted forest floor was created by florist Saskia Havekis from Grandiflora, with over 50 Camellia Sasanqua trees, ivy and twisted winter branches creeping through speckled Autumn leaves and deep cobalt blue hydrangea stems brought the set to life with giant gold moths settling onto sprouting mushrooms and cut tree trunks.

A group of Australia's most celebrated faces graced the runway of the Autumn Winter 2014 collection launch. Opening the show was Fashion Ambassador Jessica Gomes who was joined by Montana Cox and Jason Dundas as well as Cheyenne Tozzi, Gemma Baines and Ruby Jean Wilson.

This season‘s launch contained 35 capsule collections from Australia's leading designers including new designers to David Jones making their debut on the catwalk - Christopher Esber, Michael Lo Sordo and Nicola Finetti. Also gracing the David Jones catwalk this season was David Jones’ celebrated designer family including: Akira, Alice McCall, Bassike, Bianca Spender, Bec & Bridge, CAMILLA, camilla and marc, Calibre, Carla Zampatti, Carl Kapp, Dion Lee, Easton Pearson, Ellery, Ginger & Smart, Jac+ Jack, Jack London, Josh Goot, Lover, MJ Bale, Rachel Gilbert, Romance was Born, Scanlan & Theodore, Simona, Willow and Zanerobe.

Iconic designer Collette Dinnigan's ready to wear collection appeared for the last time.

camilla and marc claimed the coveted closing position with a stunning presentation of their glamorous new season's collection. The launch ended with a finale of 20 key looks which personify the dynamic vision of this brother sister powerhouse.

Hosting the launch was David Jones CEO and Managing Director Paul Zahra and David Jones Chairman Peter Mason AM, Group Executive Merchandise Donna Player, David Jones Ambassadors; Megan Gale and Emma Freedman.

A front row of guests included Great Gatsby star Elizabeth Debicki. Oscar nominee and four time nominated Emmy winner Rachel Griffiths, actress Jessica Marais, Gracie Otto, Isabelle Cornish, Leeanna Walsman, Grace Huang and Alex Russell (set to star in Angelina Jolie‘s new film). Australia's first family fashionistas Frances and Bridget Abbott sat alongside social identities Ita Buttrose, Michel Henri and Julie Carriol, Jean-Marc and Kirsten Carriol, Rachael Finch, Julian Tobias, model twins Zac and Jordan Stenmark as well as Nicky and Troy Tindall, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Sarah Blasko, Megan Washington, and David Jones’ renowned designers including Collette Dinnigan, Dion Lee, Josh Goot, Camilla Freeman Topper and Marc Freeman.
