Enterprising fashion label Forever New launched its latest collection, titled ‘Exotic Goddess’, at one of Melbourne's most exotic-looking venues, the Spice Market. It was an apt combination as retailers, guests and VIPs were treated to an inspiring collection of affordable ladies wear. I remember a similar event at Chadstone a few seasons ago as the label showed how innovative it can be. This occasion was no different as models wore floor-length, multi-coloured dresses, body-hugging pieces, and gorgeous footwear, all making their own statement, while draped in similarly exotic jewellery. We saw the silk, the strapless, and the structured in an extensive range of over fifty pieces. The tropical prints and stylish sequins were amongst the highlights.

The fashion parade virtually spread spread to the circumference of the venue as interested onlookers were captivated by the bold, flowing dresses and accessories. The DJ wanted to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson, so he cut off a track by one of my favourite bands, Muse, and force us into a set of Jackson numbers to accompany the parade. Despite that, Forever New displayed a vibrant and colourful collection in a beautiful setting.
