Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) Spring Summer 2009/10 will take place from April 27 to May 1, 2009 against the spectacular backdrop of Circular Quay. A selection of Australia and the Asia Pacific’s best designers will present their collections to some of the world’s most significant members of the fashion industry. RAFW is an exclusive industry-only event, made accessible to registered buyers, agents, media, stylists and other fashion industry representatives.

A flurry of gothic style dancers, moving to the soulful tones of Tango Apocolypso, launched the Fashion Incubator‘s Everyday Attitude parade as part of the Melbourne Central 2009 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.

In Sydney's case, a morning show at the Hordern Pavilion, with the simple David Jones logo, saw a gathering of guests eating cake and drinking coffee. There was no extravagant lighting and video displays. It was a case of getting down to business of checking the fashions.
