With a luxury trip to Paris on offer, visitors to the 2006 Sydney International Beauty Expo, to be held on September 9-10, 2006 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, have more than short queue lines as a reason to pre-register their attendance.

All those who pre-register for the 2006 Sydney International Beauty Expo, will go into the draw to win an indulgent trip to Paris. Valued at $3500, the prize includes one return economy airfare to Paris, and a luxury treatment in the famous SOTHYS Paris Institute on the prestigious rue du Faubourg St Honore, Paris.

The International Beauty Expo is a must-attend event for all beauty professionals, with over 11,000 expected to attend in Sydney. Housing more than 200 exhibitors, the largest and longest running beauty event in Australia will feature the latest products, concepts and innovations from the world's leading beauty industry wholesalers, including Pevonia Botanica, Dermalogica, Payot and Thalgo.

Some of the Expo’s highlights taking place over the weekend include the prestigious 2006 Nail Awards which, as a major drawcard in recent years, will once again showcase extraordinary nail designs and the work of some of Australia’s best nail artists.

The ever-popular Beauty Update sessions will offer techniques, secrets, tips and tricks direct from industry experts on a variety of product, industry and business topics, while the Art of Make-up Awards will create and reveal the latest looks and essentials for all make-up occasions, with expert commentary by award-winning make up artist Meryll Faulkner of Making Faces Make Up Studio.

The Catwalk Glamour Fashion Parades will feature latest fashion finds, future fashion trends and creations from some of Australia’s best young designers, in an entertaining look at fashion put together by leading stylist, Carol Provan.

“The Sydney expo will provide the perfect environment for beauty professionals to experience the latest technology, products, treatments, salon services and equipment, and learn from industry experts and prominent international personalities, to help them build and improve their business,” said Ebbeck.
