:: Spotlight :: John Richmond opens its first boutique in France
By: Carmine Pascuzzi
In October, 2009 John Richmond opened its first boutique in France. The opening of this imposing flagship store in Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is part of a strategic plan for market expansion, organised by Saverio Moschillo who runs the brand together with John Richmond himself. It is part of an ambitious project to conquer the fashion capitals of the world as well as the prestigious cities across the globe.
This brand new store in Paris joins ones that already exist in Milan, Capri, Porto Cervo and Kiev. This brand new concept is part of Moschillo's restyling strategy, and involves all the John Richmond stores. The Paris store introduces the brand's new philosophy, expressed through new architecture, exquisite art installations, futuristic layouts and effective merchandising. The two floors which combines 1300 square meters, aims to display effectively both the Menswear and Womenswear collections: clothing, shoes and accessories as well as the first fragrance John Richmond Perfume.
John Richmond worked in collaboration with french architect Christophe Pillet to create a new, exclusive vision of luxury, by using noble materials and unique details such as black smoked glass plates and chrome steel hangers.
