:: Spotlight :: Luxe Accessories launches its Summer 2005/2006 range

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Luxe is a fashion accessory label that was created and developed by sisters Jade Schilling and Courtney Saxon. “Luxe”, means luxury in French, and is a brand which strives to design fashionable and unique items that blend luxurious individual pieces with contemporary everyday style. The name “Luxe” fits both the product, and the company image.

The business has rapidly grown from the first range of earrings and bracelets, to this season’s range of leather bags, belts, unique jewellery and footwear. Luxe Accessories is currently stocking to over 40 boutique stores across Australia, as well as doing development work with larger retail companies. All Luxe products are designed by Jade and Courtney and are made both in Australia and overseas. All materials are sourced from around the world.

A parade was held recently to showcase the Summer 2005/2006 range ‘La Monde De La Mode’ - fashions of the world. They had many guests, including clients and potential buyers. The collection showcased a mix of worldly fashions, vibrant feminine colours, flowing fabrics, fresh prints and metallic leathers.

It meant Courtney and Jade embarking on a new clothing range, including street casual, and fun evening wear. The label is very feminine and quite different to the majority of accessory labels on the market today. Accordingly, their customers are very loyal and love the product. They wholesale on a large scale and develop ranges for stores such as Sportsgirl, Review and Pilgrim. The range is aimed at a diverse age group; most of their customers are between 18-40 years of age. The accessories team well with brands such as sass & bide, Tsubi, and Bettina Liano.

There are two Luxe Accessories stores in Church Street, Brighton, Victoria and they are soon to open in Chapel Street, South Yarra.
