Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Anthony Nader, (of Raw-Anthony Nade & Schwarzkopf Professional) set the standard for Charlie Brown’s hair direction at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week 2006. It featured French chic with a theatrical edge.

To achieve this look, roots were dry-slicked using OSiS Flatliner then finished with OSiS 4PLAY to polish and smooth the hair. Mid lengths of the hair were left soft with glamorous movement. New OSiS Volume Shot was applied to the mid lengths to give waves support. Application of hot rollers were used and ‘dropped’ to keep roots sleek and create movement in the ends. Definite and dramatic side partings heavily draped one eye with the hair dressed and finished with OSiS Elastic.

Anthony Nader also worked with Leona Edmiston at her MAFW 2006 show. Leona Edmiston wowed fashionista again this year with her beautiful collection. The feel was soft and romantic and hair direction was a 1950’s-inspired look featuring rich honeycomb wigs, floral and feather headpieces.

OSiS Hairbody was dried in the wigs and sprayed with OSiS Sparkler to add shine and manageability. Wigs were then styled and backcombed using ribbons and petite hats on the side. OSiS Elastic was sprayed to add strengths and support to the wigs. Leona’s look is the ultimate in sexiness; what woman wouldn’t want to look that good?” ….says Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Director Anthony Nader

This maiden voyage took fashionistas on a journey of fine silk silhouettes, stripes, neutral tones mismatched with black, navy and mysterious blues. White Suede maintained its sexy signature style - with billowing vintage dresses, blouses, pop Nuevo tees and high waisted denim super skinny jeans. Hair Direction was by Marita Onn of Oxley & Bushey, Victoria and was inspired by the loose braiding and finger waves used to give the impression of a 1920/30’s Coco Chanel-inspired bob.

Marita says, ‘Soft and romantic, loose and kooky is the best way to describe the hair look for White Suede. The braiding exposes the neckline giving outfits that demure yet naughty edge. The hair is dry textured meaning it looks natural and uncontrived.”

To achieve this look, OSiS Grip and OSiS Hairbody was applied throughout hair to give dry, natural looking texture and manageability and shine respectively. Hair was then loosely, but tidily open-roped braided and tucked at the nape of the neck. The front of head featured light finger waves. Style was then finished with OSiS Elastic and OSiS Sparkler for hold and shine.
