:: Spotlight :: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2014 - N.L.P Spring Summer 14/15 Hair Trends

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

NLP's show wowed attendees at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, with their dance meets tribal fashion show production. The amazing hair on show was created by Schwarzkopf Professional's Scott Sloan and his team, and whilst the catwalk looks might be a little over-the-top for everyday, Scott deconstructed the hair for an achievable look that every woman can wear.

N.L.P didn’t present a collection, it presented a tribe. The dancers took to the stage with a fierce animalistic performance. Nikki Lee Penny’s bathing suits are becoming more progressive with strap detailing and a greater appropriation of clothing and swimwear design.

NLP + Schwarzkopf Professional - Get the look

Prep hair with Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS Grip Volume Mousse before blowdrying, then blow-dry product through
Use Schwarzkopf Professional Dust It at the roots of your hair for some NLP-style volume and back comb as desired to go as big as you like!
Gather your hair into a ponytail at the nape of your neck, bind with a hair elastic
Split the ponytail evenly into two sections then use your finger to separate a small section of your hair from the outer edge near the elastic and cross it over to the opposite side. Re-grip your hair to tighten plait, still holding two sections. Repeat with a small section from the other side.
Repeat till you have finished your braid, secure ends with another elastic. Cut the first elastic at the base of your neck.
Spray hair with Schwarzkopf Professional Refresh Dust for a more fresh look, and run through the braid for a more undone look.
Finish with Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS Session Flexible Hold Hairspray
