:: Spotlight :: Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2006

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MMSFW) is one of Melbourne's most innovative and stylish fashion events of the calendar year. A week-long fashion frenzy, MMSFW showcases new Spring/Summer collections in-store and provides inspiration for the forthcoming Spring Racing Carnival. With a commitment to innovation, MMSFW provides a platform for Australia's hottest designers to be unearthed, and the most contemporary boutiques to be showcased, alongside iconic retailers, department stores and retail centres.

The MMSFW occurs during September 4-10, 2006 inclusive.

During the day more than 100 events take place at city retailers, including a jam-packed schedule of runway shows, exhibitions, parties, workshops, panel discussions and more. By night theatrical and glamorous fashion parades will be hosted at the magnificent Melbourne Town Hall, followed by an exclusive after party programme at bars and clubs around Melbourne.

The event is presented by The City of Melbourne. Phone: 03 9658 9658.
