Q. What is your family background?

A. I was born here, in Australia, along with my parents and grandparents. My great grandparents are from France and England.

Q. Did you grow up in your early teens wanting to be a model?

A. I was approached a few times when I was younger so I did think about it. However the main focus in my early teens was to complete my studies and get into law at university. Once I completed year 12 I decided it was something I really wanted to do and went for it!

Q. What have you discovered / learnt from the modeling scene?

A. It’s not as glamorous as it seems from the outside! At a shoot recently the stylist said to all the models “if your pose is not painful, you’re not modelling right,”- so there is definitely some discomfort involved! Modelling has also taught me how to handle rejection. It is important to realize that just because one person doesn't like your look, it doesn't mean everyone won’t. The industry is filled with opportunities; it just takes perseverance to find them!

Q. Career highlights to date?

A. Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is by far the best experience I have had modelling. The week was extremely hectic but was also so much fun! All the girls were great and taught me a lot. I was lucky enough to walk for Craig Braybrook, who is one of my favourite couture designers.

Q. Favourite hobbies?

A. I love to exercise every day as it gives me natural energy. I couldn't get through my day without it. I love to mix up my routine with Pilates, weight training, boxing and running. I also love experimenting in the kitchen when I get time. I love making healthy, nourishing food that also tastes good!

Q. Favourite music?

A. My favourite artists would be Jay Z, Kanye West and Drake. I can’t get through a run without their music on my playlist!

Q. Favourite films?

A. I don’t really have one! I am a sucker for romantic comedies so anything along those lines will keep me occupied for hours!

Q. What is your fashion sense?

A. I wear a lot of black and white. I love black and white because it is simple and elegant. My favourite look is a simple white tee, skinny jeans and black-heeled boots.

Q. Beauty tips?

A. Nourish your skin from the inside out! Over time I have discovered how important eating healthy food is for your skin. I always make sure I include heaps of leafy greens, avocado, fresh fruit and nuts in my diet, as I find these help keep my skin clear and blemish free.

Q. Advice for young girls aspiring to be models?

A. Don’t take rejection as the end of your modelling career and remember there will be many obstacles in your journey. If it something that you really want to do, keep persevering until you get where you want to be. It may take 10 “no"s before you get a "yes”, however the opportunity will come. You just have to work hard for it.

Q. Do you think a man should treat a woman like he does his car?

A. My boyfriend does sometimes joke that he loves his car more than me (he is definitely joking). I think the most important thing is for a man to care for and prioritize his girl over anything else (including his car!)

Q. Favourite place visited?

A. I was lucky enough to go on exchange to Paris in High School and live there for 3 months. It is the most beautiful city I have ever visited and the food was incredible! However there is no place like Australia, I feel extremely lucky to live here.

Q. Do you have a role model/s?

A. I am so lucky to have such a positive, loving family and group of friends and they all inspire me personally every day in their own way. If you surround yourself with the right people, they will always bring out the best version of yourself.

Q. People you've admired generally?

A. Miranda Kerr - she is a great example of how girls should nourish and look after their bodies and her book is really inspiring. I would recommend it to all young girls/women. I love the focus she places on learning to love yourself first, which I believe is extremely important.

Q. Are there any issues that you feel strongly about and would like to briefly discuss?

A. One issue that I feel strongly about is effect social media has on young girls. It is concerning how many girls aspire towards edited images that are not a real representation of an achievable body shape. It is so important for young girls to be confident in who they are and although it may be hard to not aspire to look like the picture (everyone does it at some point), it is imperative to be confident in your own skin and use yourself as motivation. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and no one is perfect!

Q. Future ambitions?

A. I would love to finish my law degree and work in a top corporate law firm in the city. I also would love to be able to continue persevering with my modelling career and see where it can take me. I have so much to learn and am so excited to experience all the great things in the industry.
