We have been after this young lady for a long time but we have finally been able to profile one of Australia's top models - Lauren Dally. The exquisite beauty was born in the Victorian goldfields town of Ballarat. She was raised there by her grandparents until the age of 17. Having never been out of Victoria she decided to make the move to the Gold Coast. Eight years spent there building her modelling portfolio before heading to her next chapter in life in Sydney. Lauren has been modelling for about ten years. It has always been her passion, Lauren Dally was considered one of the fastest rising models in Australia after being crowned 2007 FHM Girl Next Door, but she decided to pursue a career in real estate. It didn't take long to realise her true aim was in modelling. The diverse nature of Lauren's experience and her success to date is testimony to her versatility and her willingness to try new projects and to accept new challenges. She works hard and she has big ambitions to move into television presenting. With her gorgeously impeccable looks, the sky is the limit for the 5 feet 11 inch beauty.

Q. What is your family background?

A. I am originally from a gold mining town in Victoria, called Ballarat. Where until I was 17, was raised by my grandparents.

Q. Did you grow up in your early teens wanting to be a model?

A. As far back as I can remember I have wanted to be in the spotlight, from singing to modelling to the theatre, I loved it all. It wasn’t until I was 18 that I really pursued my modelling.

Q. What have you discovered / learnt from the modelling scene?

A. The industry can be a double edged sword. There are some wonderful opportunities and now so many different avenues to be discovered. As a teenager I found it hard with the rejection and compared myself to others. But with age comes experience and knowledge, I am more confident, with my constant positive outlook on life I hope I can help others along the way.

Q. Favourite hobbies?

A. I live a very active lifestyle. It makes me happy being outdoors in the sunshine. Long walks, hikes, stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, volleyball. It’s nice to mix things up.

Q. Favourite music?

A. I listen to many different genres, primarily dance music - Ministry of Sound - yet I also like beautiful piano music.

Q. Favourite films?

A. Anything with Jim Carrey. One of my favourites is Me, Myself & Irene. I also love The Green Mile, 50 First Dates, The Departed, even horror movies like Saw.. too many to mention in this question. I’m easily pleased, the only thing that wouldn't interest me would be Sci Fi

Q. What is your fashion sense?

A. If I’m not in gym gear I like to keep it pretty simple. Nice tight jeans and a t-shirt. Summer is cute dresses in thongs (shoe variety.

Q. Beauty tips?

A. You are what you eat - certainly rings true with your skin. Eat a balanced diet. I have at least 2 litres of water a day; an extra 1 litre for every hour of exercise. Once a month a facial or microdermabrasion. Before every shower I use a body brush which has so many wonderful benefits.

Q. Advice for young girls aspiring to be models?

A. My advice for young girls wanting to be anything, is just that. If you want something in life go out and get it. Don’t ever let people say you can’t do something. It took me many years to build confidence within myself. Modelling will get you out of your comfort zone. I like that every day is different. But ultimately do what makes you happy and go after your dreams.

Q. Do you have a role model/s?

A. I have many role models for different reasons but top two are my nan - kind, loving, beautiful soul who would give her last dollar to make you happy. Plus Elle Macpherson whom I admire as both a model and very successful business woman.

Q. Future ambitions?

A. One of the perks of getting older is that you may try many different jobs. You might not know exactly what you want now, but you know what you don’t want. Having worked in real estate for several years, I was very successful but modelling and TV is what I have always dreamed of. I’m enjoying moving towards more fitness modelling but the end goal is to be a TV presenter/actor. I’m looking at you Getaway 
