Q & A

Q. What is your family background?

A. I was born in Sydney, spent my childhood living on the Gold Coast, moved to Roxby Downs and then Whyalla. I moved to Woomera with my mum and brother, but then decided to move back to Whyalla. My mum still lives in Woomera and my dad lives on the Gold Coast.

Q. Did you grow up in your early teens wanting to be a model?

A. I did grow up wanting to be a model but I didnt have the confidence to try.

Q. What have you discovered / learnt from the modelling scene?

A. I have discovered that you don't have to be perfect to be a model… sometimes it's the imperfections that make you stand out from the crowd.

Q. Favourite hobbies?

A. My favourite hobby is travelling and seeing new things.

Q. Favourite music?

A. I love all different music from dance to country

Q. Favourite films?

A. My favourite films are comedy

Q. What is your fashion sense?

A. I dress for comfort! I don't really like sparkle and bling, I love natural colours, baggy tops and letting my hair do what it wants!

Q. Beauty tips?

A. I love the brand ‘planet earth’. Their moisturiser is awesome and smells amazing! Try not to pack on the make-up.. you look cheap.

Q. Advice for young girls aspiring to be models?

A. Any young girls starting out should definitely go for it! I spent so many years holding back because I thought I wasn't good enough, and ended up winning the first competition I entered. Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone is unique, and you could have that special look that someone has been searching for.

Q. Do you think a man should treat a woman like he does his car?

A. A guy should treat a girl better than he treats his car… the car can't make him a sandwich!

Q. Favourite place visited?

A. I have so many places I have visited and loved. Every trip has been special in its own way, but Disneyworld was a childhood dream, so that is definitely a favourite.

Q. Do you have a role model/s?

A. My parents are my role models. My dad is a businessman who works hard to achieve big. My mum is a country girl and she puts everyone before herself and could find happiness sitting under a tree. I take what I can from both my parents; to make myself a better person. Although they don't think it, I take all of their advice.

Q. People you've admired generally?

A. People I have admired are my ‘Whyalla parents’ Chrissy and Justin. When I moved back to Whyalla they took me in and gave me a loving home to live in! I don't think they realise how much they helped me.

Q. Future ambitions?

A. My ambition is to have at least one huge modelling job… just one so I can die happy.
