One of the first events to kickoff Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2004 was the opening of Albert Coates Lane at the revitalised QV complex in Melbourne.

A number of high profile designers had recently opened stores and a big event was held to celebrate this fact. Many celebrities and fahsion industry people attended the night and it was a good chance to meet some of the retailing staff. Shops include Wayne Cooper, Paablo Nevada, Nicola Finetti, and Xiang Hairdressing.
