Dress Code opened the nightly fashion parades as part of the Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2006. It focused on what to wear for those important social occasions. The impeccable style was signified by the designers on show tonight:
Nicola Finetti, Caravana, Anna Thomas, Jayson Brunsdon, Aurelio Costarella.

It was an elegant collection of women's wear for Spring Summer. Bold colourful pieces marked Caravana's show, with shades of yellow and red amongst the tops and skirts. Nicola Finetti has built an excellent reputation and showed a sample of his classy simplicity with high waisted dresses a noticeable feature. Jayson Brunsdon impressed with bold black and white colour patterns and a well contrasted collection. Tailored shorts and long dresses were part of Aurelio Costarella. It rounded out the opening night.
