The Myer Autumn Winter 2008 Collection was unveiled at an exclusive catwalk launch on March 3 at Shed 4, Victoria Harbour, North Wharf Road, Docklands, Melbourne.

It was quite a sight for the many guests at the Myer Collections launch, particularly those who travelled to the show by boat from a previous L'Oreal Runway parade. On the boat, guests were treated to Mumm champagne and treats.

This was a very slick presentation by Myer, with a Red Carpet entrance for the VIPs, including ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins and Rebecca Twigley. Jennifer had a leading role on the night, modelling several outfits and helping provide the big finale.

Guests were seated around a square-shaped stage. Outfits by Toni Maticevski started the proceedings, with his glorious white gowns a real highlight. There were many smart and classy pieces by designers such as Nicola Finetti, Camilla And Marc, and Jayson Brunsdon. Accessories were well noticed with eye-catching headpieces, gloves, scarves and hosiery.

The Wayne (Cooper) Junior label was great fun with a number of young children on parade, having the time of their lives running around the stage.

Overall, the show was vibrant and stylish. Models formed a guard of honour for Jennifer Hawkins as she wrapped up the collection.
