:: Spotlight :: Oroton Flagship Boutique opens in Melbourne
By: Carmine Pascuzzi
Leading Australian luxury accessories brand Oroton recently launched its flagship boutique in one of Australia’s most premier fashion destinations, Collins Street, Melbourne.
The key design of the new store: a breath-taking, 3-dimensional textured tile patterned wall featuring the Oroton logo, acted as the perfect backdrop, highlighting the innovative ideals and sophistication that has become synonymous with the brand.
Guests were treated to Bellinis while feasting on an array of culinary temptations including:
o Gilded quail eggs, rolled in hazelnut dukkah and topped with gold leaf
o Pate brise tartlet topped with goats curd, broad bean and green pea
o Herb crepe filled with grilled asparagus, fresh herbs and soft ricotta
o Baby brioche buns filled with crème fraiche, sterling caviar and snipped chives
o Cevich of monkfish with ruby grapefruit and baby cress on black sesame tuille
Melbourne jazz singer-songwriter Garth Ploog provided entertainment throughout the night, as he displayed much charisma.
As Oroton celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, the launch of the Collins Street boutique sees the Oroton retail network expand further, to 40 stores within Australia.
The new Summer 08/09 range, entitled ‘A Place in the Sun’, is currently being showcased in Oroton’s flagship boutique, which is located at 86- 88 Collins Street, Melbourne and is open now.
