:: Spotlight :: Fashion Fusion Show at QV

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

On Tuesday March 15 the worlds of high fashion and modern dance collided in the most spectacular way when QV presented their Autumn/Winter Fashion Fusion Shows as part of the 2011 L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Some of the country’s most talented dancers who have appeared in the Ten Network’s smash hit So You Think You Can Dance swapped the stage for the catwalk as QV invited fashion aficionados to explore the art of fashion through an exciting fusion of contemporary movement and couture in a never-before-seen performance that blurred the divide between Melbourne’s parallel worlds of style and culture.

It was a chance to discover fashion directions and wardrobe essentials for this coming Autumn / Winter season in a culturally infused performance as Australia’s most aspirational designers, including T.L Wood, Wayne Cooper, Kam Otto, Dizingof, and Trimapee showcased their work. The performance were staged in QV Square, in the heart of the QV complex.
