What a wonderful week for the consumer based client in an amazing fashionable week of runway ready to wear collections. Sydney Town Hall became the new venue this year and a platform catwalk for all to view. The seating was better placed and all had a spectacular view of the beautiful collections. Marie Caire hosted the first opening night with many VIP celebrities. Walking down the red carpet and photographed then ushered to the Rosemount main bar with plenty of wine to choose from and canapes.

To start the first consumer day was the Myer spring fashion launch - designers included Aurelio Costarella, Manning Cartell, Ellery, Karen Walker, Jayson Brunsdon and Nicola Finetti. The highlight of the show and all eyes were watching the stunning glowing Jennifer Hawkins looking every bit the barbie doll she is and the gorgeous Kris Smith modelling the mens range.

Later that afternoon was the the Charlie Brown show who had surprised many celebrities and consumers with her new collection ‘Altered states’. This would have to be the highlight of the week. Charlie Brown stunned onlookers with her new range and to kickstart the crowd and her new collection Nicky Hilton was the star attraction as she walked down the runway in a beautifully draped gown. Nicky Hilton showed no nerves as she as she professionally walked down the runway. Charlie Brown has collaborated her collections on the party season with sexy, playful, bold constructed pieces ready to wear. A Charlie Brown gown will be a must to have in your wardrobe this summer.

Little Joe NY had her wonderful collection that appealed to many consumers also a must to have in the wardrobe this summer. Bonds made a fun impression with their runway collection and Hot in the City intimates was a eyeful collection to view. Celebrity Ambassador Erin McNaught for Antz Pantz made a huge impression with her youthful smiling glamorous face.

Kookai featured their first ever collection in the Rosemount Fashion Festival and showcased an inspiring richly feminine chic Parisian look which showed a style from Sex in the City 2 they also highlighted their basics with electric colour and striking prints.

Queen of the Kaftans Camilla - ‘What can i say as a stylist’ - she is still a favourite and can do no wrong in her collections. The amazing runway collection “Babylon” once again was the favourite of the week using her Avatar theme as during Rosemount Fashion Week. I can't wait to see her collections next year. The crowd watched and cheered enthusiastically after the show and once again gorgeous Camilla made her appearance to thank the crowd with pride.

Celebrities for the week also included Sarah Murdoch, Charlotte Dawson, Nikki Phillips, Gracie Otto, Maude Garrett, Jaime Wright, Alex Perry and Nicky Hilton.

Another great Fashion Festival week and a big congratulations to IMG for all the hard work and the success of the week.
