:: Spotlight :: Roxane Lebrasse signed up as SUPRÉ ambassador and will perform at new store opening

Former Australian Idol favourite and newly signed Universal Music artist Roxane Lebrasse is the latest talent to be signed as a SUPRÉ Style Rocks Ambassador. The SUPRÉ Style Rocks Project was launched in March 2007 to support Australia’s young, up and coming music artists. This initiative will give back to the music industry, which has been at the heartland of SUPRÉ culture and the in-store experience since opening back in 1984.

Following the popularity and success of the first SUPRÉ Style Rocks ambassador, Roxane now takes the SUPRÉ stage, during which time she will perform her hot new single “Sexy”, an R&B track with an electro vibe; for SUPRÉ customers and the Media on several scheduled dates at the George Street flagship store and at the official opening of the SUPRÉ Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne store in August.

Roxane is set to inspire and encourage the thousands of young and ambitious SUPRÉ customers who pass through their stores. “I am so excited to be part of this amazing project, its all about having fun, wearing my fave fashion looks and showing SUPRÉ customers you can make your dreams happen.” says Roxane.

Roxane will be dressed in the latest SUPRÉ looks, which according to the design team at SUPRÉ, will be ‘pure and girly’ next season with lots of ‘cutesy prints.’ Neon lights and rainbow brights will also be making a big come back, for Summer 07 all of which are set to take SUPRÉ girls back to their childhood.

From early August SUPRÉ customers can see Roxane perform live in-store and see her on SUPRÉ TV in the “Sexy” filmclip. Roxane will be larger than life, on giant light boxes instore, her face on swing tags and will be heard (loud) on SUPRÉ radio across 170 SUPRÉ stores in Australia and New Zealand. Roxane will be performing her debut single ‘Sexy’ in store during August and September.
‘Sexy’ will be available online from August 11 and in stores August 18.

**Update as at August 30, 2007**

The SUPRÉ Bourke Street VIP store launch was held on August 16 to celebrate the opening of the first SUPRÉ mega flagship store (next to David Jones). It is the largest SUPRÉ store in Melbourne and surprised guests with an enormous ‘department store’ size shopping space and a dramatic “new look” interior, including sleek black walls, budoir lighting and exclusive Bourke Street clothing lines.

Guests enjoyed a SUPRÉ Runway show on the new catwalk installation and loved live entertainment from the ‘Nomadic Funk’ breakers/poppers and the live performance by SUPRÉ Ambassador Roxane LeBrasse which included her new track “Sexy”.
