By: Leena Thompson

Talaluh is a brand to watch out for. Their beautiful ready to wear resort and day wear is appealing and friendly clothing aimed at all ladies. The freeness of the clothing and the appealing casualness however giving an ultra chic look can make any day time wear look fashionable. Talulah is a brand from our beautiful shores of Byron Bay. Silks, cottons and pastel hues were appealing to the eye. Flowing whites and leather trimming a winner with crochet and lace dresses adapting to every woman’s wardrobe. Light up candles filled the Overseas Passenger Terminal room which gave the guests a relaxable feel and a soft presence in order to watch the show. To view the collection please visit here

Uscari is a new label for the funky fashionista at heart. Their pure white impressive designs were a winner on the runway. They gave white a new meaning of youthfulness and trend. Geometric Panels of Chantilly lace and a medley of tassels, fringing and sheers made the collection a modern new breed of what our future designers are all about.

Sighting the stir of the beginning of summer and the whimsical nature of the world seen through a dreamlike state as her muses for ‘Sequence of Light’, Uscari's designer Krystel Davis descibes her collection as “what is real and what is abstract, brought to life.” A dreamy palette of soft neutrals, blush and vivid white form the perfect base for the label's signature details – think burnt edging, leather trim, gold leaf and copper hardware – to shine. Intricate print formations and playful experimentation with tranparancey emphasizes the use of airy silks and chiffons, while layer upon layer of sheer mesh and loosely woven knits create gentle graduations of texture.
