Sisters Josephine Verduci and Michelle Verduci-Smith are the successful design duo behind new generation Melbourne fashion label Verduci-Smith, which featured at this year’s Mercedes Australian Fashion Week New Generation Collection showings.

The Spring Summer collection draws inspiration from the 1940’s and 1950’s where Verduci-Smith takes a walk back in time mirroring the beauty, femininity, and classical look of this era, whilst adding an edge to their designs.

The attention to detail of the Verduci-Smith range includes customised fabrics and prints and also incorporates exquisite hand beading and embroidery.

Michelle and Josephine decided on sober hues in cement and stone mixed with a brighter colour palette of citrus and burnt orange to compliment the fabrication and detail of their designs.

A romantic and playful collection made up of classical silhouettes with ruffled and frilled detail, billowing dresses, tussar shorts, kaftan-esque inspired pieces, structured dresses and French styled leggings, Verduci-Smith is strengthening their position for well-dressed looks for the young at heart.

Prices range from $138.00 - $1,144.00.

With personally designed fabrics and the use of silk chiffon, Verduci-Smith has defiantly pushed the uniqueness of style.
