:: Fabz: Combining style and comfort

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

This season, women’s feet no longer need to suffer thanks to the launch of Fabz, an Australian designed collection of quality leather foldable flats. Perfect for the commute to work, big nights out, travelling and everyday wear, Fabz are packaged in a pouch that fits neatly into any handbag, unfolding into a light yet durable pair of fashionable flats – ideal for any woman on the go.

With over 30 styles and an array of colours to choose from, Fabz are the ultimate addition to any woman’s wardrobe. Incorporating classic and contemporary designs, the whole collection is made of soft leather, featuring a padded heel for comfort and non slip rubber soles for added stability.

Created by footwear designer, Loretta Ashby and her partner, Ed Kirchschlager, Fabz is Australia’s most extensive collection of foldable flats. Noticing the limited range of foldable flats available at the time, Ashby began designing Fabz in 2009, with a view to make foldable fashionable. “I wanted to create a shoe that was available in a variety of designs and colours that combined comfort and style for the modern woman,” she said.

This is not the first time Ashby has ventured into the fashion world, having worked in the industry for over two decades, “I began my career as a dressmaker trainee at the age of 17 and never looked back,” she says. Ashby has extensive experience in all facets of the fashion industry, from design to despatch, and loves designing her own range of footwear. “I enjoy designing creative but practical footwear for busy women like myself,” said Ashby.

Fabz are available in Australian sizes 5 – 10, with selected styles in a size 12.
Prices start from $79.95 Recommended Retail Price.

Fabz can be purchased online and from a range of stockists throughout Australia.
