:: The "nobody cares" collection

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Nobody cares about what? This season nobody is inspired by the idea of stoic individualism; the concept of not caring about what others think, the idea of being free to do whatever you like, and the idea of what you wear being the foundation of this attitude to life. The “nobody cares” collection has been designed to be garments you can rely on; to make you look good; to be a great fit; to be comfortable, and to be something you can dress up, or dress down, ultimately wear anywhere and look great, but also something that you don’t have to sweat over its care and maintenance. Nobody thinks that’s what guys' fashion should be. This individualism and concept of “nobody cares” brought the design and art inspiration to the idea of concrete. Concrete is something that is tough, durable, reliable, and something they think looks great. The concrete-as-art theme is evident though their series of prints, treatments, ease of care and artwork. Indeed you’ll see concrete referenced throughout the collection.

The collection itself is built around what Nobody thinks of as the “concrete” of the outfit – a complete story of five pocket jeans and stylised tees. They have refined all aspects of the fits and fabrics, so that every guy from the lean to the athletic will look great. The jeans are made to fit perfectly, regardless of your body size. The design details take the collection to formal-meets-street artistic attitude, with lots of layering and treatments including a new lead denim treatment they have developed in Germany.
