The new Penelope and Monica Cruz for MNG collection was unveiled in a star-studded event at Hotel Atzaró in Ibiza, Spain recently. Famous sisters Penélope and Mónica attended the event and seemed delighted with their collaboration with one of Europe’s most well-known and successful fashion brands.

“We are very happy with the results of the collection. In fact, we have been wearing MANGO clothes for years, but now we intend to wear all the items in this collection,” says Penélope Cruz. “We wanted to recreate items that we really like, many of them vintage, that we have always wanted to wear and which we have now with this collection”.

The coveted MANGO label is known as MNG in Australia due to a licensing issue. The styles and collections, however, are identical and follow the European season.

The limited collection is the result of the creative talents of these two young and versatile actors who, with a clearly defined and characteristic style, have produced a collection that matches their personality. “The collection caters for all kinds of women, from a 16-year-old girl to a woman of 40,” says Mónica Cruz.

Penélope adds, “The entire collection has a very vintage feel. Some of the ideas we got from books from the 50s and 60s, books on cinema, things that some of our favourite actresses wore in the street, at work, at premieres, etc”.

Australian women will be able to purchase items from the Penelope and Monica Cruz for MNG collection as MNG follows the European season, enabling Australian women to indulge in international trends direct from the European catwalk, without waiting.
