:: UnNakeD branches out with a ready to wear lifestyle collection

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Following on from the success of the slightly quirky tee label, UnNakeD has branched out with its latest range creating a ready to wear lifestyle collection perfect for the Australian climate. Tearing away from the ever-growing number of t-shirt labels UnNakeD’s Spring/Summer 09/10 collection debuted at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in April 2009.

UnNakeD expresses the season with contrasting silhouettes and paneled loose cut pants, paired with slim fitting slightly tricked up jersey tops, shirting and waist coats. Concentrating on mostly natural fibres the collection highlights breathable summer fabrics including modal, jersey, voiles and cotton to ensure that you keep cool this summer. The soft draping and silhouettes create a somewhat 80’s reference while pin stripes add depth and dimension to the collection. For the beach girl UnNakeD’s highlight piece is an original hand printed maxi dress perfect for the casual Sunday afternoon. UnNakeD’s range is designed to fit and flatter the body. You won't have to suck, squeeze or starve your way into looking good.

UnNakeD founder, Andy McIntyre, believes it’s important to engage and inspire people to create and contribute to urban culture and their own fashion style. Following on from a successful career with high-flying roles at a number of large international brands, Andy created UnNakeD as he felt there was a real opportunity and market for Australian made limited edition street based product.

London born, Mark Rogers has spent the last 12 years designing for top International design houses such as Top Shop, Miss Selfridges, Warehouse, John Lewis and Insight. Mark's love for street wear pushes the fresh new direction of UnNakeD, creating the perfect cut for a freer lifestyle. In his spare time Mark hits the ski slops instructing to the rich and famous…

A brand known for not using a pre-developed product to print designs on, UnNakeD has relentlessly researched to create a perfect fashion cut for the 100% Australian made cotton tees. It's easy to wear all year round. The unique cut meshed with the funky designs will make you feel good and look great!
