This is Delta at her best, singing a pop ballad with sincerity and purpose. This song was written by five people including Gary Barlow (remember him from Take That). It has the commercial appeal written all over it. The B-sides include a live version of the song that was recorded at Channel V headquarters in Sydney. There is also a Luge mix of “Innocent Eyes”, something less conservative and out there.
