After bouncing on the scene fervently with their “Resist” album of eighteen months ago, the band has now explored new territory. Not content with staying to a pattern of drum ‘n bass, things are a little more experimental. They are emphasising a mature sound. Lead singer Sian Evans has a freer style and she shows how good she is throughout the set. There is an extremely good opening track, “Wasting My Time”, which sets the dark, melodic mood for the rest of the album. Sian sings it seductively. One song stands out as being more upbeat and the guitar riffs on “All In My Head” bring a stronger than normal sound to Kosheen. It's the chilled moods of “Coming Home” that will sit comfortably in the lounge room. The variations make an interesting set and also suitable for remixing. Therefore, the album is worth due consideration in observance for a unique variety of flavours. It makes the band very appealing and we wonder what they'll come up with next
