Move over Pete Doherty and Artic Monkeys, the new wave of English Indie artists are sweeping through the music industry. Mystery Jets have been moving up the music charts for a while now and a lot of people in the know have predicted they will be ‘the next big thing’. Well their new single ‘Young Love’ may just be the push they have required to launch themselves onto the world stage. Funnily enough it isn’t regular Mystery Jets frontman Blaine Harrison in front of the mic on this one; it’s the guitarist, William Rees who sings what technically becomes a duet with singer/songwriter, Laura Marling. ‘Young Love’ is a funky little indie track with sweet melodies and a tale of lost love sparked by a one night stand and a phone number being washed away. Catchy and to the point ‘Young Love’ could be a sleeper hit for a band on the verge of big things.
