The Project

Very good follow up to their EP from earlier this year, in which another step forward has been made. The potential is starting to come through and they just need to consolidate. Jesse Atkinson is the singer and main songwriter and his heartfelt alternative rock vocals provide certain sensitivity to the songs. It’s a real sound with fine production, right from opening track “Getting Out Of Here”. They throw in two acoustic tracks, “Penniless” and “She Says She’s Not Here Forever” that add a different dimension of mood and feeling. The melodic tendencies should win people over and The Project should be worth seeing on the live stage too. This CD is a good listen.
