Alphaville, the 80s group responsible for the smash hit Forever Young, has returned with another best of compilation reminiscing the 80s and early 90s. Where this sound can remind you of cringe worthy hair cuts, shoulder pads and liquorice all sorts, there’s a lot on this compilation for new indie bands to borrow from. There are plenty of old synth sounds, power beats and cheesy 80s lyrics. Cheesy or not this compilation sure takes you back and helps you remember the power behind the pop song in the 80s; before Britney Spears and others alike came onto the scene. This is a great album for 80s rock purists and those on the new wave of indie rock.
