Her soft, beautiful voice endeared herself to thousands of fans as the lead singer of The Corrs. It is this mellow shiny sound that epitomises this first single off her upcoming album. Added to that is the trance vibe that accompanies her in the fast-paced number. There is no traditional Irish folk music here. “Shame On You” is not light on its message as Andrea speaks of the futility of war and the people left behind in its wake. It's a different sound and look for Andrea but still very likeable as a commercial pop outing.
