Like the Atlantic Unearthed: Soul Sisters, the Soul Brothers CD honours the lost classic songs of some of the greatest male artist in Motown. This CD is funkier than the Soul Sisters CD but does include some soulful R&B tracks like ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’ by R.B Greaves, which is a great original track and no matter who remakes it, nothing beats the original. Other soul tracks ‘That’s How It Feels’ by the Soul Clan and ‘Baby, Baby, Baby’ by Percy Sledge are the slower and romantic Motown ones. Then you have tracks like ‘Can’t Stop A Man In Love’ by Wilson Pickett and ‘How Does It Feel’ by Bobby Womack, which are such cool funky songs that make you want to put your platforms on and dance the night away.
