Three years since Melbourne‘s melancholy finest released an album, Glenn Richards and co are back with yet another corker of a record. In 'Moo You Bloody Choir’ (great name), Augie March has again delivered an intense, deep listening experience. It‘s very hard to find fault (if at all), but then again why would you want to when the music radiating outward is utterly spellbinding. Each of the fourteen songs are dramatic, cleverly and carefully constructed pieces of work, which stand up under the heavy scrutiny of a reviewer's critique. First single 'One Crowded Hour’ only hinted at the beautiful gems Glenn had kept hidden until now. Arguably one of this countries finest songwriters, Richards' immense talent is on full display here. An album's album, you'll be hard pressed to find a better local release this year!
