Auxiliary One’s “Broken ‘n’ Twisted” is a fusion of multiple talents including music-production duo and rave and trance regulars SystemBot and composer Justin Pounsett’s solo project Templar Monk. With cabaret singer Kaye Tuckerman and MC Ben Astbury lending their vocal talents, the resulting track is refreshingly unconventional, blending elements of breaks, trance, rock and classical music to create a truly unusual sound. The song has been adapted and remixed from a track SystemBot wrote for a key scene in the Australian horror hit of 2005, Wolf Creek. With its menacing beat and cacophonous chorus, the song seems a suitable choice for what must be a deliciously scary soundtrack.
