Dave Baxter’s one-man band Avalanche City has been recognized from his hit single Love Love Love. This easily addictive and catchy tune has been popular amongst many radio stations this year. It has similar sounds to the song “Rhythm of Love” by the Plain White T’s and Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”.
The album reflects his home town Auckland, and outlines his dream of making a harmonious and warm album. His inspiration also stems from his love for Johnny Cash and Mumford and Sons, which soon lead to his creation of Love Love Love. It has reached the NZ charts and become highly recognized all over Australia. This six piece of mandolin, ukulele, glockenspiel and accordion creates somewhat plucky and light hearted tunes that unintentionally make you smile.
