The Backstreet Boys’ latest offering is, like their previous work, very listenable pop. They’re not breaking the mould here by any means, but fortunately their vocals are strong enough to sustain the transition from dancefloor fillers to easy-listening ballads, in an effort to show their apparent maturity. Admittedly some of the tracks left me feeling slightly nauseous, but overall, this is a solidly produced album I must confess to a weakness for “Incomplete” in particular- you can’t help sing along with the boys. Buy it for your little sister and roll your eyes in mock annoyance when she plays it nonstop.
