You might know her as a member of Queensland band The Bloodpoets, but I discovered Bec Plath as a solo artist in 2010 and she made a big impression on me with a single “At The End of the Night”. It is a gorgeous song and no surprise that Bec has placed it as the final song of this four-track EP. The song showcases Bec's wonderful voice and it builds into a strong number. Lovely melodic tunes mark the other three tracks and Bec displays a passion in delivery that is beautiful. Bec has the ability to really make inroads and it is only a question of her travelling around the country more so people can see her talent first hand. I recommended you catch her on tour whenever The Bloodpoets play. Her singing is engaging and her songwriting will continue to mature. Look forward to an album in the next twelve months and for Bec to be well noticed.
